| Arkema Raises Prices for High Performance Polyamides |

Effective November 1st, 2007, or as existing contracts permit, Arkema is increasing by 7% the prices of its Rilsan®, Pebax®, Platamid® and Orgalloy® high performance polyamides granules. The amount of the increase will vary across product lines and across regions as far as currencies are concerned. Meanwhile, specialty grades are subject to higher increases, while non-fossil, bio-based grades are subject to lower increases. These price increases have been brought on by an ongoing escalation of energy, raw material and transportation costs, which previous productivity programs and price adjustments have not been able to offset.
