HONG KONG - (MARKET WIRE) - Biopack Environmental Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: BPEV) is pleased to announce that agreements have been reached with two new agents to facilitate the increasing global demand for Biopack's unique 100% biodegradable product. These new agents were signed in anticipation of the increased production capacity from the new production facility "Biopark." As demand for Biopack's products had begun to outpace production capacity, plans were put in place to set up their own proprietarily owned production facility in Jiangmen City, China. Four brand new production lines are presently being installed at Biopark which will augment present production capacity three fold from last year. Operations are set to begin by the end of the calendar year. Given this upcoming increased production capacity, M2 Formulex Inc. ("M2") and AGQPE Ltd have been commissioned as respective agents for the North American and South African regions.
M2's principals combine in excess of fifty years of food and beverage industry experience. Formed in November of 2002 and having affiliate offices in New York and Minnesota, M2 is engaged in product and applications development, business development consulting, and contract sales and marketing. AGQPE will also have Roots Biopack's product on display in the upcoming Natural and Organic Products Exhibition in Cape Town, South Africa at the International Convention Centre. The exhibition is held from October 12-14, 2007. This exhibition has grown from 64 exhibitors in 2004, to 250 this year.
