very few weeks, a secret group meeting in an underground bunker hidden beneath the Picasso in Daley Plaza chooses a new evil for community activists to rally around. The latest choice of the civic cadre is bottled water. Actually, not so much the water, but the plastic bottle is not their friend. Once upon a time, most liquid refreshment either was in a glass bottle or a can. When the plastic bottle arrived, it made the conveyance of liquid about as simple and easy as it gets. Or so most of us thought. Now that hundreds of millions around the world consume bottled water, the handy little plastic bottle is becoming a headache. Once made, it stays made.
