Earthpure Organics™ LLC, sister company of Nextgen Vending™ LLC, launches their new line of renewable, biodegradable, 100% EPA/ BEF carbon offset, socially responsible Eco-Water™ bottles. As part of their mission to deliver healthy organic products while conducting their business in a sustainable manor, Earthpure Organics™ is delivering their new 16.9 oz. water bottles to Nextgen Vending™ for delivery in vending machines nationally. Their Eco-Water™ bottle is a renewable-resource-based bio-plastic (corn PLA) that is also fully offset with EPA/ BEF (Bonneville Environmental Foundation) Green-e® Climate certified Wind-Power credits - the bottle is fully biodegradable, recyclable, and carbon offset. Bio-plastics are a new generation of biodegradable & compostable plastics, derived from renewable raw materials such as starch (e.g. potato, beets, corn, tapioca etc.), cellulose, soy protein, etc., that decompose back to carbon dioxide, water, and biomass once discarded. This is the first of many steps that begin to address the overwhelming need to utilize our renewable resources - Earthpure Organics™ is dedicated to seeking out alternative practices and materials that encourage social responsibility and positive changes throughout our community.
"We are extremely proud to be the first vending operator in the United
States to offer a socially responsible choice for water bottles" says
Paul Frantellizzi, managing partner of Earthpure Organics™ "This
corn-based (PLA) bio-bottle with the addition of Green-e® Climate A compostable bio-plastic bottle is a bottle that is "capable of undergoing biological decomposition in a compost site as part of an available program, such that the plastic is not visually distinguishable and breaks down to carbon dioxide, water, inorganic compounds, and biomass, at a rate consistent with known compostable materials (e.g. cellulose) and leaves no toxic residue."
