BCC Research warns of infrastructure blocks for packaging market growth.
16 January 2007 – US
firm BCC Research is forecasting the global market for biodegradable
polymers to grow at a compound average annual growth rate of 17.3% up
to 2012.
Demand reached 541 million pounds (245,000 tonnes) in
2007, it said, and the projected growth would increase the market to
more than 1.2 billion pounds (546,000 tonnes) in 2012.
